EUROCAM is a non-State actor accredited by the WHO Regional Committee for Europe to attend meetings of the Regional Committee.
This year, EUROCAM attended the 76th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe with a distinguished delegation that included our Chair, Elisa Baldini; Executive Committee member Miranda Ruchtie; Dr. Jeremy Y. Ng of the University of Tübingen; Dr. Hiba Boujnah of the Charité Competence Center for Traditional and Integrative Medicine; and two representatives of EUROCAM’s youth delegate program - Giulia Strada and Atrey Gaonkar. The delegation held strategic meetings to discuss the meaningful integration of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Healthcare (TCIH) priorities into regional health strategies.
EUROCAM delivered three impactful statements to Member States, spotlighting the role of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Health (TCIH) in promoting Healthy Ageing and youth mental health, as well as calling to include TCIH in any discussion on AI in healthcare.
