What is MEDViEW?

MEDViEW is an EU Horizon grant-funded project to create an enabling environment for innovation, collaboration, and co-creation to address the complex issue of human health and well-being, ensuring that solutions are holistic and community-driven. This project offers a unique opportunity for EUROCAM members, patients, healthcare professionals, academics, researchers, SME's and policy makers to shape what MEDViEW will be.

Specifically, the project objectives are:
  1. To establish the MEDVIEW Community, a pan-European Interdisciplinary Community in well-being
  2. To apply action learning principles founding a Community of Practice for Knowledge Valorisation in wellbeing
  3. To deliver and validate the MEDVIEW Implementation Guide for Knowledge Valorisation regarding wellbeing topics
  4. To foster direct interactions among all the wellbeing stakeholders through an intelligent digital space for communication, dissemination & engagement

Your involvement will ensure your views, experiences, knowledge and values are part of the project’s developmental process and that you and your organisation can be part of this engaged community wanting to work together to create innovative healthcare solutions.

The amount of engagement is up to each individual, but every stakeholder's views will be important in creating the finished MEDViEW space.

Future Engagement Opportunities Share your views and enhance your skills!

As part of the capacity building sessions that are offered through the MEDViEW EU Project, EUROCAM will be offering six sessions on Communicating Health and Well-Being Evidence for Impact.

The sessions are as follows at 12:00 - 13:15 CET:

  • SESSION 1:  7 October — Foundations of Effective Advocacy & Communication - This opening workshop introduces participants to the foundational principles of effective advocacy and communication in health and wellbeing. Although health information is abundant, it often remains inaccessible or fails to resonate due to complexity, fragmented messaging, and limited audience awareness.

  • SESSION 2: 14 October — Crafting Evidence-Informed Messages - Evidence is central to improving health outcomes, yet scientific and clinical findings often remain inaccessible to non‑technical audiences. This workshop explores how evidence can be translated into clear, accurate, and compelling messages that support prevention, care, innovation uptake, and policy alignment.

  • SESSION 3: 16 October — Storytelling and Narrative Building for Wellbeing and One Health (Co-hosted by the Refocusing Health Project) - Using the example of One Health as a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that also holds great potential for community health, this workshop will explore how storytelling and narrative techniques could be deployed to reduce complexity and shape effective messages.

  • SESSION 4: 20 October — Strategic Communication Planning - This workshop explores how strategic communication planning can strengthen co‑creation processes across communities, organisations, and systems. Effective communication strategies depend on aligning messages, timing, channels, and stakeholder needs yet many initiatives struggle due to fragmented planning, limited resources, or unclear objectives.

  • SESSION 5: 28 October — Building Digital and Hybrid Engagement - Digital and hybrid engagement formats are essential for modern health communication, yet many stakeholders face barriers such as limited digital literacy, platform fragmentation, and uncertainty about how to adapt content for online audiences. This workshop explores how digital tools, including MEDSPACE, can support knowledge valorisation, community engagement, and cross‑sector collaboration.

  • SESSION 6: 30 October — Strategic Communication for Policy (Co-hosted by the Refocusing Health Project) - The aim of the session is to explore how evocative narratives can be translated into policy ready communications that resonate with policy audiences.

Attend individual sessions or join the full series for comprehensive capacity development. Each session runs online via Zoom.

Secure your spot today; spaces are limited, and we expect strong uptake across Europe.
