7 April 2021, World Forum for Ethics in Business

The World Forum of Ethics in Business organised the virtual conference 'Changing Paradigms in a Pandemic World: How to regain trust? - Health, Happiness & Ethics'. Leading experts were invited to put into perspective the implications and consequences of the current pandemic. The event was opened by WFEB founder and global humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia and the Deputy of Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service of Belgium were among the speakers during the keynote panel discussion. EUROCAM's Secretary-General Dr Ton Nicolai was invited to share his insights during the breakout session 'Future of Healthcare Post COVID: Moving Towards an Integrative Approach'. 21 November 2018, European Parliament 'Ayurveda for Public Health'

The Ayurveda community and Geoffrey Van Orden MEP organised the event ‘Ayurveda for Public Health’ at the European Parliament. As the European Ayurveda Association is affiliated to EUROCAM, Dr Ton Nicolai, spokesperson of EUROCAM, was one of the guest speakers at this event. In his presentation, he focused on the growing popularity of Ayurveda around the world, which is obviously due to its holistic approach towards wellness of life and true spirituality. 20 September 2018, 'Role of acupuncture in CAM in Europe'

As an associated partner EUROCAM participated in the World Congress on Medical Acupuncture – ICMART-iSAMS 2018, together with more than 500 participants, 187 speakers from 36 nations. Dr Ton Nicolai, the spokesperson of EUROCAM, spoke at the opening ceremony about the ‘Role of Acupuncture in CAM in Europe’. Further, he participated, among others like the ICMART president and Dr Sangyoung Ahn from the WHO, in the open panel discussion on International Health Strategies to framing the future role of acupuncture in global health care.

16 October 2017, Workshop 'Complementary alternative therapies for patients today and tomorrow'
